“For me, Shambhala began as a coarser realm similar to the other kingdoms of its time. However, what made this kingdom unique was that its kings were emanations of highly realized bodhisattvas. Through the profound karmic connections these bodhisattvas cultivated over countless lifetimes, they acted as powerful magnets for those with particularly strong propensities for love and compassion. As a result of their influence, the kingdom of Shambhala flourished in both worldly and spiritual matters.”
