Understanding a Rime View & the Importance of Interfaith Harmony
In celebration of the Romanian release of Ocean of Diversity, one of Khentrul Rinpoche’s seminal works, we gather for a special public talk exploring a vision that is both timeless and urgently needed in today’s world.
Originally written as Path of Pure Vision and focused on the Tibetan Buddhist traditions, this work was later expanded at the encouragement of His Holiness the Dalai Lama into a much broader and more inclusive presentation. Today, Ocean of Diversity opens the door to understanding the richness of the world’s spiritual traditions and the deeper unity that connects them. As Rinpoche shares, this book emerged from years of learning across traditions and a wish to think globally, beyond narrow boundaries.
Public Talk
This talk will explore the meaning of a Rime (non-sectarian) view—how to genuinely respect and appreciate all authentic spiritual traditions while maintaining depth in one’s own path. It will highlight the importance of interfaith harmony as a foundation for a peaceful and compassionate world, and how true unity arises not from sameness but from honoring diversity with wisdom. For modern seekers navigating many possible paths, it offers guidance for moving beyond confusion and doubt toward clarity, confidence, and meaningful spiritual direction.
