2026 Black Dzambhala Pujas

2026 Black Dzambhala Pujas

This event is available ONLINE only.

Join Us for the Monthly Black Dzambhala Puja to Remove Obstacles to Prosperity and Dharma Activity

True abundance flows not only from external effort but from the deep inner work of purifying karmic debt and obstacles. The Black Dzambhala, a wrathful manifestation of compassion, swiftly removes hindrances to wealth and spiritual progress, enabling the positive conditions needed for the flourishing of the Golden Age.

We invite you to participate in this monthly Black Dzambhala Puja to help clear the karmic and energetic blockages that limit the flow of resources—both material and spiritual—into your life and the broader Dzokden vision. This practice supports the manifestation of Khentrul Rinpoche’s global aspirations for peace, harmony, and spiritual awakening rooted in Shambhala values.

In alignment with Rinpoche’s guidance, this puja generates the merit necessary to magnetize support for the Dzokden Kalachakra projects around the world—temples, retreat centers, Dharma communities, and all the sacred infrastructure needed to usher in the Golden Age. By offering to Black Dzambhala, we not only request the removal of our own obstacles, but also those impeding the collective Dharma work of all sincere practitioners.

This is a restricted practice and open only to those who have received the Black Dzambhala empowerment.

2026 Monthly Kalachakra Green Dzambhala Puja

2026 Monthly Kalachakra Green Dzambhala Puja

This event is available ONLINE only.

This special practice of Green Dzambhala originates directly from the Kalachakra Tantra and serves as a complementary practice for those engaged in Kalachakra studies. The practice is specifically designed to align with the elemental systems and Buddha family schemas that form the foundation of the Kalachakra mandala and teachings.

To receive the complete blessings and effectiveness of this profound practice, practitioners must either receive or commit to receiving the full Kalachakra seven empowerments of the growing child. This prerequisite ensures proper spiritual preparation and lineage connection.

As with all Kalachakra teachings the practice can be divided in Outer, Inner and Ultimate.

Outer Aspect – The Four External Abundances

Externally, this practice facilitates connection with four fundamental abundances:

1- Dharma Abundance The most essential wealth is the Dharma itself, as it provides the gateway to liberation from the suffering of samsara. True wealth cannot be found within the cyclic existence of samsara.
2 – Material Wealth Once established on the authentic Dharma path of bodhicitta (awakened heart), practitioners learn to engage with material wealth as a skillful means to benefit others rather than for personal gain.
3 – Enjoyment of Desires The practice transforms our relationship with desires and sensory experiences, using them as stepping stones on the spiritual path to benefit self and others.
4 – Liberation The ultimate abundance—complete freedom from suffering—represents the final goal that encompasses and transcends all other forms of wealth.

Inner Aspect – Internal Dimensions and Benefits

The Ten-Deity Mandala System

This practice centers around a mandala of ten deities, each corresponding to specific aspects of inner reality. The practice works to stabilize and harmonize the ten vital winds (pranas) within the subtle body, thereby bestowing internal abundance.

Chulen

Internally, this is classified as a chulen practice—a category of Vajrayana Buddhist techniques focused on extracting subtle essences for spiritual nourishment and longevity.

For those with sufficient foundation and experience, this practice can bestow:

-Physical Abundance: Enhanced bodily health, vitality, and strength
Mental Abundance: Greater mental clarity, emotional stability, and cognitive strength

Ultimate Aspect – Tantric Integration

The practice exemplifies the tantric principle of transformation, where ordinary experiences of wealth and enjoyment become vehicles for spiritual realization. Rather than rejecting material aspects of life, the practice teaches how to engage with them skillfully as means to liberation.

This sophisticated approach reflects the mature understanding that in advanced Buddhist practice, all experiences—including those typically considered worldly—can serve as supports for awakening when approached with proper view and intention.

Green Dzambhala practice represents a complete system that addresses both external circumstances and internal spiritual development. By working with the fundamental energies of abundance, practitioners develop a balanced relationship with wealth while progressing toward ultimate liberation. The practice’s integration with Kalachakra teachings ensures its effectiveness within a comprehensive spiritual framework.

*This is a restricted practice and open only to those who have received the Green Dzambhala empowerment.

Are You Ready to Become Invincible?
It’s Time to Get Real About Being a Bodhisattva. Everyone focuses on the love and compassion part of the path.

Khentrul Rinpoche focuses on the courageous nature you need to cultivate.

Liking the idea of compassion isn’t enough. If you’re serious about becoming a Bodhisattva—a true warrior of love—you need to train. This path is not about escaping the world. It’s about turning toward its suffering with fearless clarity, patience, and action. That requires work, endurance, and transformation.

This course is a no-fluff immersion into the courageous Mahayana Bodhisattva path. You will be asked to practicestudy, and show up—again and again. Because real peace isn’t passive. It’s earned. And it’s built on the capacity to face everything—especially your own karma—for the benefit of all beings.

What You’ll Work Towards Cultivating
-The unshakable courage to face challenge without collapse
-The mental and emotional resilience to transform adversity into compassion
-The skill to generate Bodhicitta and act from wisdom and altruism
-A living connection to the Bodhisattva Vows and the Shambhala Golden Age vision
-Deepened commitment through group practicestudy, and meditative discipline

Topics Covered
-The Four Immeasurable Qualities (Love, Compassion, Joy, Equanimity)
-Aspiring & Engaged Bodhicitta, and Ultimate Bodhicitta
-The Six Perfections: From generosity to wisdom
-The Wheel of Sharp Weapons Sutra: Transforming karmic adversity
-Bodhisattva Vows (Bestowed by Khentrul Rinpoche)
-Shambhala Connection (Oral transmission offered)
-Practical training in TonglenMetta, and more
-The Five Paths & Ten Bhumis from the Mahayana Sutra tradition
-How to face the world with clarity instead of using the Dharma to escape it

How the Training Works
This is not a passive, one-way course. You’ll receive:
-Weekly 2-hour sessions (Live + recordings)
-Structured homework with readings and meditations
-A community space to connect, discuss, and practice in peer-led small groups
-Break weeks to integrate or catch up
-Sangha Circles every 3–4 weeks: collective meditation & sharing spaces
-Weekly go out in the world and put your teachings into practice.

“This is training for lifetimes. This is what builds unbreakable peace.”

DESCRIPTION:

Module 8 — WENSUM (Three Isolations)

The previous preliminary practices are common across various Vajrayāna traditions, and although they may be practiced slightly differently, the intended result is generally similar. Innate Kālachakra Practice and Wensum (Three Isolations) are considered Unique Preliminaries as they are specific to the Jonang-Kālachakra Ngondro system.

Up to this point of our spiritual path, our use of conceptual methods has been instrumental in removing our many layers of misconception, but as they are embedded in the dualistic mind, these methods function as a subtle barrier to experiencing our definitive nature. For this reason, we need now to abandon them in favor of a direct approach that works without conceptual fabrications. We can achieve this transformation from conceptual to non-conceptual in two steps. Firstly, we are introduced to the Kālachakra view by receiving the Four Higher Empowerments. Secondly, with the establishment of this view, we use the unique meditation technique of the Three Isolations (Wensum) to cut the proliferation of thoughts and abide in the nature of the mind. (Khentrul Rinpoché).

COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course, vajra students of Shar Khentrul Rinpoché, who have received from him the Higher Empowerments and the Wensum (Three Isolations) pith instructions, will have the opportunity to dive deep into a greater understanding and practice of this unique preliminary of the Kālachakra path. It is designed for both new and veteran Wensum practitioners who want to deepen their practice or who wish for support and guidance on establishing a solid practice in preparation for the Six Vajra Yogas.

During this course, we will examine all the translated Wensum material in a deep dive approach, under the lens of extended teachings and explanations given by Rinpoché after the publication of his books and restricted texts. As Rinpoché has always taught Wensum from different angles, depending on his audience, exploring a consolidated presentation of his various teachings is extremely helpful for gaining insight into the practice.

Resident teacher at Kalapa, Rafa Lobsang Dorje, will offer this course with Rinpoché’s blessings, based on the extensive Wensum teachings he has received from Rinpoché since 2017. Additionally, he completed a strict 45-day Wensum retreat in 2020 and, since 2021, has been leading Wensum retreats at Kalapa regularly.

Content Overview:

1 – Overview and presentation of all materials currently available for the Wensum practice.

2 – Additional explanations based on in-person Wensum teachings from Rinpoché.

3 – Multiple and flexible ways to practice Wensum within the three sādhanas “Divine Ladder,” “Enlightening the Heart,” and “Secret Dakini Treasure.”

4 – Perspective, encouragement, and advice regarding how to implement a stable solo practice that accords with your current life circumstances, as well as advice on informal practice.

5 – Q&A opportunities and space for exchange and discussion to help alleviate concerns, doubts, challenges, and so forth, regarding the practice.

About the KALACHAKRA NGONDRO PROGRAM

About the KALACHAKRA NGONDRO PROGRAM

The Kālachakra Ngondro Program is a 2-year-long program created for students who want to deepen themselves in the Kālachakra Path in a structured, step-by-step guided process

The Ngondro also called the “Preliminary Practices prepares you to uncover your own Buddha nature. If you want to completely unveil this perfect nature, the Kālachakra Ngondro prepares you for the very subtle and profound yogic practices of the Completion Stage called the ‘Six Vajra Yogas’ of the Kālachakra Tantra. Shar Khentrul Rinpoché offers a flexible approach to embrace a variety of practitioners because being fixed on only one traditional way may not be a match for everyone. Developing familiarity with the Kālachakra Ngondro practices can be adjusted individually according to your own personal inclination.
