Enlightening the Heart – Ngondro Oral Transmission & Teaching

The request for the Ngondro Transmission was made by the Chinese Group. The request for a teaching on the Ngondro was made by the Vietnamese community. Rinpoche has kindly agreed to both request along making this anyone worldwide.

Enlightening the Heart is a modern presentation of the Ngöndro (preliminary practices) written by Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche to support contemporary practitioners in clearly understanding and engaging the foundations of the Vajrayana path.

While traditional Ngöndro texts often present the practices in a concise and symbolic way, Enlightening the Heart helps clarify and elaborate on key points that may not always be fully explained in traditional manuals. Rinpoche provides practical guidance, deeper explanations, and clear instructions to help practitioners meaningfully connect with the purpose of each practice.

Receiving the oral transmission (lung) for this text connects you to the living lineage of these teachings and authorizes you to study and practice them in a traditional way.
