Description

We are seeking a German-speaking dedicated volunteer to translate and support publishing Rinpoche’s videos on the German Dzokden YouTube channels. This position does not require video editing skills.

Responsibilities

Access Subtitle-docs in the Dzokden Google Drive.
Make translations of and/or revisions to already translated videos.
Follow the schedule of videos to be completed.
Collaborate with other members of the International YouTube Project Team.

Skills & Qualifications

Fluency in both German and English.
Able to work independently with good organizational and time management skills, diligence,attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Cooperative, reliable and ability to persevere when faced with obstacles.
Ability to collaborate with other volunteers and team members to fully support the project; ability to work in a team is essential.
Openness to learn new technical skills and procedures; willingness to follow given standards, guidelines.
Technical: Ability to use Google Workspace, Drive, Docs (text editing/formatting functions) and Slack.
Able to transfer knowledge to future volunteers.
