Description

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic volunteers to contribute their graphic design and creative skills to a variety of meaningful projects.  This role directly supports Dzokden’s by developing visually engaging materials that promote Rinpoche’s teachings, programs, and community outreach.  The Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with other dedicated volunteers across our marketing, publishing, social media, and other teams to ensure consistent and impactful visual communication.

Responsibilities

Develop a range of visual materials required for a project including 

• Social media graphics (posts, stories, banners, profile pictures)
• Website graphics (banners, icons, images)
• Marketing materials (flyers, brochures, posters, postcards)
• Digital assets for email campaigns
• Layout and design for newsletters, program guides, and other publications (under the guidance of the publishing team)
• Infographics and visual representations of data
• Branding elements and templates as needed

Work closely and effectively with volunteers from various teams (marketing, social media, publishing, etc.) to understand project needs, timelines, and brand guidelines.

• Ensure all designs adhere to the organization’s established brand identity, including logo usage, color palettes, typography, and overall visual style.
• Contribute creative ideas and concepts for visual communication that effectively convey the organization’s message and resonate with its target audience.
• Organize and maintain design files in a clear and accessible manner.
