Losar: From Our Home to Yours
A Global Sangha Celebration of the Tibetan New Year
No matter where you live in the world, you are warmly invited to celebrate Losar together as one global Dzokden family.
Losar (ལོ་གསར་)—the Tibetan New Year—is much more than the turning of the calendar. It is a sacred time to purify the past year, make vast aspirations for the year ahead, renew our connection with the Dharma, and gather with spiritual friends in celebration. Throughout Tibet and the Himalayan regions, families traditionally make offerings, raise fresh prayer flags, offer fragrant smoke to the Buddhas, protectors, local deities, and all beings, and spend the first days of the new year creating merit and rejoicing together.
This year, wherever you are in the world, we invite you to join us live from your own home.
Together we will perform the traditional Jonang Sang Offering and Riwo Sangchö smoke offering to purify obstacles, increase merit, and dedicate prayers for peace, harmony, and the flourishing of the Dharma in the coming year.
If you are joining online, we encourage you to participate fully at home.
You might wish to:
-Offer incense, juniper, or another fragrant smoke offering.
-Hang a new set of prayer flags while making aspirations for the year ahead.
-Recite your favorite prayers, including Kurukullé aspirations or other personal dedications.
-Join the chanting during the pujas.
-Celebrate with family, friends, or your local practice community.
One of the beautiful traditions of Losar is sharing joy with others. We’d love for our worldwide sangha to celebrate together.

Receive the Twenty-One Taras Empowerment, Oral Transmissions, Hidden Meaning Teachings, Sacred Music & Living Practice
For more than a thousand years, practitioners have turned to Tara for protection, wisdom, healing, fearless compassion, and the swift removal of obstacles. Yet within the Jonang tradition, the Twenty-One Taras reveal something even more profound, the completion stage of Kalachakra, the 6 Vajra Yogas.
Rather than twenty-one separate deities, they are understood as twenty-one manifestations of one enlightened Mother—one awakened wisdom expressing twenty-one compassionate activities to meet the needs of limitless beings. Like a single moon reflected in many lakes, Tara appears in different forms while never departing from her one enlightened nature.
This living understanding is beautifully embodied in the Jonang tradition’s Drolmi Kazug practice, in which the same Tara manifests her twenty-one enlightened activities. It is further illuminated through the extraordinary commentary of Jetsun Taranatha, whose Hidden Meaning of the Twenty-One Taras reveals layers of symbolism and practice rarely encountered outside the living lineage.
But Tara cannot be known through study alone.
In Vajrayana Buddhism, wisdom is not merely understood—it is realized. The enlightened feminine qualities embodied by Tara, from ordinary intuition and compassionate responsiveness to the direct recognition of primordial awareness, are cultivated through empowerment, meditation, mantra, feast offering, devotion, and lived experience.
This course invites you to enter that journey.
A Rare Jonang Lineage Transmission
Receive the precious Twenty-One Taras Empowerment from Vajra Master Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche, together with the oral transmissions (lung) for both the Long and Concise Highest Yoga Tantra Tara Tsok Feast composed by Lama Lodrö Drakpa (Mati) Jonangpa.
Rinpoche also offers his commentary on Jetsun Taranatha’s Hidden Meaning of the Twenty-One Taras, introducing the profound vision of Tara preserved within the Jonang tradition.
Building upon these transmissions, Yeshe Wangmo guides students through each of the Twenty-One Taras with structured teachings, guided meditation, mantra practice, and practical instruction for integrating Tara’s enlightened activity into daily life.
Tara and the Completion Stage Path of Kalachakra
Within the Jonang tradition, Tara is not practiced in isolation. Her enlightened activity is understood as harmonizing with the complete path of Kālacakra.
In his commentary, Jetsun Taranatha reveals symbolic correspondences between the hidden meaning of the Twenty-One Taras and the Six Vajra Yogas of Kālacakra—the completion-stage path that the Jonang tradition regards as the pinnacle of Highest Yoga Tantra. While the commentary does not disclose the restricted pith instructions of these yogas, it offers a rare glimpse into how Tara practice and the Kālacakra path illuminate one another.
For this reason, this course is especially meaningful for practitioners who have already received the Kālacakra Empowerment or who aspire to receive it in the future. It provides a rich foundation for understanding how Tara’s enlightened activity complements and enriches the complete Vajrayana path.

Join Us for the Monthly Black Dzambhala Puja to Remove Obstacles to Prosperity and Dharma Activity
True abundance flows not only from external effort but from the deep inner work of purifying karmic debt and obstacles. The Black Dzambhala, a wrathful manifestation of compassion, swiftly removes hindrances to wealth and spiritual progress, enabling the positive conditions needed for the flourishing of the Golden Age.
We invite you to participate in this monthly Black Dzambhala Puja to help clear the karmic and energetic blockages that limit the flow of resources—both material and spiritual—into your life and the broader Dzokden vision. This practice supports the manifestation of Khentrul Rinpoche’s global aspirations for peace, harmony, and spiritual awakening rooted in Shambhala values.
In alignment with Rinpoche’s guidance, this puja generates the merit necessary to magnetize support for the Dzokden Kalachakra projects around the world—temples, retreat centers, Dharma communities, and all the sacred infrastructure needed to usher in the Golden Age. By offering to Black Dzambhala, we not only request the removal of our own obstacles, but also those impeding the collective Dharma work of all sincere practitioners.

Vă invităm să creăm împreună spațiul sacru al conectării la energia vindecătoare a lui Buddha al Medicinei, să experimentăm puterea mantrei sale și să aducem beneficii nu doar pentru noi înșine, ci și pentru cei care au nevoie și cărora le putem dedica această practică specială. Prin această practică sunt înlăturate cauzele karmice ale bolilor și suferințelor, fiind cultivate, în schimb, cauzele redobândirii stării de bine în toate aspectele vieții noastre.
Khentrul Rinpoche a alcătuit o scurtă practică bazată pe experiența vizionară a lui Dölpopa. Concizia practicii vă permite să o integrați cu ușurință în propria viață de zi cu zi. Buddha al Medicinei este venerat ca doctorul suprem, oferind vindecare prin învățăturile sacre ale Dharmei. Prin canalizarea puterii iubirii și compasiunii, puteți aduce vindecare atât vouă înșivă, cât și celorlalți, precum și cauzei principale a suferinței – ignoranța noastră.
Datorită aspirației lui Buddha Vindecător, oricine vede o imagine a sa, chiar și ocazional, va avea beneficii și cursul acțiunilor sale va fi schimbat în bine. Dacă doar simpla vedere a unei imagini are o astfel de putere, ne putem imagina ce efecte pot genera implicarea directă și rostirea mantrei sale sacre. Haideți să creăm circumstanțe favorabile pentru viața noastră și nu numai!
Notă importantă privind participarea
Această practică se adresează oricui dorește să regăsească starea de liniște și armonie și să experimenteze o altă cale către vindecare. Nu există cerințe prealabile, poate participa oricine dorește și rezonează cu această practică. Sadhana lui Buddha al Medicinei va fi partajată pe ecran.
