Online: Heruka Vajrasattva Blessing Jenang and Retreat with Khentrul Rinpoche
Letting go 2021 and establishing 2022 fresh with the blessings of the Buddha Vajrasattva
The retreat is optimized for South Africa, European and USA timezones.
The Empowerment is at good time globally.
Khentrul Rinpoche has kindly agreed to bestow the Heruka Vajrasattva Empowerment (Jenang / Permission Blessing) to support all practitioners wishing to do purification practice, and in particular those working with the Ngondro. Rafa Lobsang Dorje from Suchandra Institute will guide the participants through the Kalachakra Preliminaries with focus on the Vajrasattva Practice. This event was requested by practitioners of the Americas and the schedule is friendly for the Americas and for Europe as well.
In the practice sessions we will use the powerful visualization of Vajrasattva in union with his consort Vajratopa, as well as the Vajrasattva Heruka Mantra. The participants will be exposed to various traditional ways of practising and to deepen their understanding about the different meanings involved. We will be practicing with the main sadhana of the Kalachakra Path, “The Divine Ladder” by Jestun Taranatha, as well as with Khentrul Rinpoche’s own sadhana “Enlightening the Heart”.
BENEFITS OF THE PRACTICE
“Vajrasattva practice allows you to uncover the reality of your Buddha-nature, which is currently hidden as a result of defilements created by attachment, aggression and delusion. Our current situation is like a dirty piece of glass. This practice provides you with a powerful method to wash away the dirt while being confident that underneath there is crystal clear glass which is completely pure and unstained. Through the practice of Vajrasattva, this confidence will steadily grow as you come closer and closer to discovering the innate purity of your most profound nature.” (Khentrul Rinpoche)
This practice is done in the Jonang Kalachakra Ngondro for purification. If you are study and practicing this Ngondro, this retreat is highly recommended.

Khentrul Rinpoche
Khentrul Rinpoché Jamphel Lodrö is the founder and spiritual director of Dzokden. Rinpoche is the author of Unveiling Your Sacred Truth, The Great Middle Way: Clarifying the Jonang View of Other-Emptiness, A Happier Life, and The Hidden Treasure of the Profound Path.
Rinpoche spent the first 20 years of his life herding yak and chanting mantras on the plateaus of Tibet. Inspired by the bodhisattvas, he left his family to study in a variety of monasteries under the guidance of over twenty-five masters in all the Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Due to his non-sectarian approach, he earned himself the title of Rimé (unbiased) Master and was identified as the reincarnation of the famous Kalachakra Master Ngawang Chözin Gyatso. While at the core of his teachings is the recognition that there is great value in the diversity of all spiritual traditions found in this world; he focuses on the Jonang-Shambhala tradition. Kalachakra (wheel of time) teachings contain profound methods to harmonize our external environment with the inner world of body and mind, ultimately bringing about the golden age of peace and harmony (dzokden).
