This is an area of much confusion among both practitioners and potential practitioners. Rinpoche is very kind to answer questions for us so that people can learn to work with all aspects of their life as the path. Commonly asked questions include, can I fall in love with a Dharma community member? Do I need to get divorced from my partner who doesn’t practice Vajrayana? Do I need to abandon my home and all my family to do this practice? If I take an initiation does it mean I can never have sex again? If I taken an initiation does that mean I have to have sex? Because of new-age tantra there is much fear, confusion and excitement around what an initiation can mean.Please bring your questions and your best points to this interactive event so that Rinpoche can work to cover them all.

About the Puja All are welcome there is no need to RSVP. We will be celebrating the completion of Khentrul Rinpoche’s new smoke offering burner at the Tibetan Buddhist Rime Institute in Australia. We plan to be able to use this to make Jintek, Sang and Sur offerings. We will make the first offerings to all the Local Deities and spirits to purify Karma and create conditions for the Golden Age to Flourish. Sang is a cleansing and purifying practice that clears away obstructions to practice and in the mindstream of the practitioners. One of the precious aspects of the Jonang lineage is the consistency in the view throughout the Sutra and Tantra teachings. Rinpoche will give a very special empowerment the following weekend on Chod, Opening the Door to the Sky Empowerment from Jetsun Taranatha. In preparation he will give a bit of insight into the practice based in Sutra and how the view aligns with Other-Emptiness.

Khentrul Rinpoche always encourages us to see debates from many views and angles. The age old question on what to eat is no different. He will help walk us through all the different intentions and vantage points we may have when looking at the karma of the actions around what we consume.
Please bring your questions and your best points to this interactive event. Some of the questions that often come up and lead to lot of discussion and confusion – Are Buddhist all peaceful people eating vegetables? In Tibet some Monastery areas sell “naturally died” vs “killed” meat. What’s the difference and do the monks eat meat? If I buy meat at a supermarket am I contributing to killing? Am I violating a vow if I eat meat? What if I need to eat meat for my health, am I a failed Buddhist?
If you attended the correct oral transmission or empowerments and received the practice package, you should already have this course on your dashboard in your learning center. If you do not please contact [email protected]
This course is restricted to those who took the Empowerment or Oral Transmission in January at the Drolmi Kazug Puja or in May at the Land of Shambhala consecration and made an offering to receive the blessed item offering package. The practice can not be done without all of these conditions. It took us 6 months just to gather the correct ingredients to make the precious substances and even more for the conditions for the vases. Rinpoche specifically put together these practice packages so that serious practitioners who will do the practice have every item they need to properly do the puja.
