Intuitive Female Wisdom: Red Sarasvati Empowerment with Khentrul Rinpoche

Intuitive Female Wisdom: Red Sarasvati Empowerment with Khentrul Rinpoche

This event is available both Online and In-person.
This event will be in English with live Hungarian translation, other languages will be available on Zoom only.

At the request of the Hungarian group, Khentrul Rinpoche will speak on the divine female wisdom and how to use it on the tantric path. He will bestow the Wang (full empowerment) of the Goddess Red Saraswati who is the consort of Manjusrhi and the female embodiment of wisdom. The empowerment comes from the Jonang tradition, based on Jetsun Taranatha. Most of the tantras that are popular in other traditions come from him because Taranatha is the treasury of the tantra.

His teaching will be on using feminine wisdom on the path of desire to work with our emotions. We do not have to abandon the challenges of our modern world. In fact, we can learn to face them directly and transform them into our path to liberation.

About Red Sarasvati
Both Buddhists and non-Buddhists worship her equally. In the vedic tradition, Brahma created the world, and for a long time after, they didn’t have any sounds or sentient beings. Many gods came to him and said, “you made the world, but there are no beings and no sounds.” Then Brahma spilled water from his vase, and there became this incredible sound, this sound is known as the goddess Sarasvati. So that is why she is known as Brahma’s daughter. This is, in general, a story based on Hindu teachings, but the Tibetans have many, many different versions of her. Some of her forms are white with two arms. This form is a tantric 4-armed version and is powerful and magnetizing in nature.

Saraswati is a wisdom deity but a female version, just like Manjushri. Many great practitioners consider her to be Manjushri’s secret consort. There are so many other lamas worshipping, especially scholars worshipping her instead of Manjushri.

Become a Global Changemaker: Bodhisattva Vow to manifest the Golden Age with Khentrul Rinpoche

Become a Global Changemaker: Bodhisattva Vow to manifest the Golden Age with Khentrul Rinpoche

This event will be in English with live Hungarian translation, other languages will be available on Zoom only.

Tap into the power of all the Buddhas to open your heart to liberate all sentient beings. The infinite ultimate Bodhicitta needed to realize enlightenment and liberate beings as limitless as space, may be simple to understand but difficult to cultivate. In our world, it can be hard enough to develop worldly compassion and sympathy for friends and family; never mind those with opposing political views or who you perceived to have wronged you. To develop the heart of enlightenment big enough to genuinely care for the whole world selflessly like the great bodhisattvas of Shambhala takes a huge, continuous effort. Peace is possible for the world, but we need strong motivation and huge strength and dedication to create a Golden Age of Peace.

Khentrul Rinpoche will bestow the Bodhisattva vow and a prayer on Shambhala to help connect us with the power of love and the warrior nature that never gives up like all the Shambhala Kalki Kings such as  Pundarika an emanation of Chenrezig. Through this unique connection, we can with sustained effort, open our hearts to truly cultivate the capacity of unconditional love and compassion to create a Golden Age of time on earth. Khentrul Rinpoche will guide us in teaching how the Shambhala Kings are the ultimate compassionate warriors that we can become as well.

INCLUDED IN THIS EVENT
-Bodhisattva vow and booklet,
-Shambhala Prayer Oral transmission
-A preliminary teaching and practice session with a Q&A session.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
There are no prerequisites. It is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Previous Buddhist study and practice are helpful but not mandatory. Awaken through Suffering on the Sutrayana Path with Khentrul Rinpoche

Awaken through Suffering on the Sutrayana Path with Khentrul Rinpoche

This is a FREE event and is available both Online and In-person.

While the Buddha taught that life is suffering, he also taught that there is a way to become free from suffering. In this evening’s free public talk, Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche will teach powerful mind-training techniques from the Sutrayana path of Buddhism to help us learn to cope with life and transform it. While we can’t prevent life’s challenges, we can become skillful in dealing with them.

Suffering can appear in our lives in so many forms, such as the easy-to-do identify suffering of illness, job loss, divorce, or other adverse life circumstances. Or suffering can be subtle and sneaky in the form of passing radiantly joyful emotions that are so wonderful we wish they would never leave. Even the best ice cream will melt in the hot sun if not eaten.

While our feelings and emotions can change momentarily, it does not mean we must be thrown into turmoil by sadness, jealousy, anger, hatred, or frustration. Nor does that mean we must reject our emotions and experiences, hide them, or shame them away. The Buddha taught many precise antidotes that can be learned and used for each emotion to help us work through them as they arise. When this happens we can better achieve all of our life priorities in work, family, or spiritual realization.

These sutra antidotes can help practitioners at all levels. Even a tantric student wishing to work directly with emotion’s energy may find themselves in a moment when reducing the emotion’s intensity is necessary before transforming it.

2024 Zhitro Hearing Liberation Empowerment and Puja

2024 Zhitro Hearing Liberation Empowerment and Puja

This event is available both Online and In-person.

Khentrul Rinpoche has agreed to bestow Karma Lingpa’s Zhitro Hearing Liberation empowerment and perform a Purification Puja at the request of the Chinese language group during the time of The Double Ninth Festival. The Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday observed in the Lunar calendar on the ninth day of the ninth month. Chinese people pay their respects to their ancestors. This is the second time a year that Chinese people have visited the graves of their ancestors.

This “hearing liberation” teaching cycle is part of the highest yoga tantra. Khentrul Rinpoche has a deep connection with this practice and has often received this empowerment. This cycle involves many liberation prayers and forms of practice. Due to its extensive preparation requirements, it is rarely performed publicly. However, it is highly beneficial for life, death, bardo, and rebirth processes and is especially good for repaying parents and ancestors. The Nyedren Purification and Liberation Puja helps sentient beings who have passed and are wandering in the bardo or any of the other six realms to liberate them to Samtrabhadrahood. This ceremony is effective for beings who have died, no matter how long ago. Through the prayer and the ritual performed, the consciousness of the deceased merges with the inseparable wisdom of the hundred deities. To conclude the ritual, we will burn all of the name tablets of the living and deceased.

Despite the need for Khentrul Rinpoche’s extensive preparation, he has prepared this for us out of his compassion. Do not miss this important opportunity to participate now; you never know when death will come or when you can help your loved ones again.

ABOUT ZHITRO
Zhitro, meaning “peaceful and wrathful,” denotes the assembly of forty-two peaceful and fifty-eight wrathful deities and was buried by Guru Padmasambhava in the eighth century. The teaching was revealed as terma in the 14th Century by the terton Karma Lingpa. These Buddhas are alternatively referred to as the bardo deities. The term ‘bardo’ signifies an ‘intermediate state,’ one of six such states, with the reference here being to the bardo of dying – the transitional phase between death and rebirth. During this phase, the one hundred Zhitro deities manifest themselves to the deceased to facilitate their liberation from the bardo. At some stages in the Bardo state, people need peaceful Deities; in other stages, people need wrathful ones to benefit their journey of awakening.

The teachings of Zhitro, as imparted by Guru Padmasambhava, establish a direct conduit for practitioners to engage with the bardo deities through dedicated practice and supplication. This empowerment is a blessing in our lives and prepares us for liberation in the bardo following our death. As per the Bardo Thodrol, a seminal text on the bardo in Vajrayana Buddhism (widely known as The Tibetan Book of the Dead), bardo deities present themselves to the deceased over a period of forty-nine days while the deceased is in the bardo. Initially, the peaceful deities appear, and if the deceased fails to recognize and attain liberation through these peaceful deities, the wrathful deities subsequently manifest. If the deceased cannot connect with the deities during this forty-nine-day period, their consciousness is drawn back into rebirth within one of the six realms.

2024 White Dzambhala Empowerment with Khentrul Rinpoche

2024 White Dzambhala Empowerment with Khentrul Rinpoche

This event is available both Online and In-person.

Khentrul Rinpoche has agreed to bestow the Jenang of the White Dzambhala. While in general, the Wealth Yaksha Dzambhala is connected with generosity and Ratnasambhava, each form or color of the deity has a slightly different focus. White Dzambhala is seen as a manifestation of the Bodhisattva Chenrezig. He can eradicate poverty through cleansing negative karma and karmic obstacles while advancing our Bodhicitta aspiration. White Dzambhala brings us the knowledge of ethical discipline and purity. When there is mental clarity, ethics, and wisdom, financial resources can be put to their most effective use. To have financial stability we need purity in our understanding and view of financial resources. We have been working over the years as a community to cultivate a connection with all aspects of Dzambhala and in doing so, refine our ability to magnetize the true wealth, the Dharma to create a Golden Age.

This includes both the empowerment and a practice for White Dzambhala.

How to Prepare?
There are no prerequisites for these teachings.
