About this Project
The 2027 Global Shambhala Tour is an unprecedented sacred art exhibition and educational odyssey traversing Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and India. Launching in late 2026 and culminating in Bodh Gaya in 2028, this tour serves as a vital pillar for global transformation, inviting diverse audiences to encounter the universal language of the Kalachakra Tantra. The Tour will debut:
- Over 60 exquisite thangkas of the Shambhala Kalki Kings and Queens, commissioned by Shar Khentrul Rinpoche.
- Sacred artworks, immersive 3D Mandalas and interactive installations as the universal bridge transcending culture and religion.
- Empowerments, teachings, community dialogues and scholarly discussions led by Khentrul Rinpoche.
- Museum-quality Art Book, a high-end artifact featuring stunning imagery and insightful essays that explore the hidden Realm of Shambhala.
Our Aspirations and Why This is Important
In 2027, it will be the 1,000-year anniversary of the Kalachakra entering Tibet and the historic turning of the Kalki King. We will celebrate the transition to a new Kalki King in 2027 and acknowledge a symbolic renewal of hope. Kalki Kings represent the “antidote” to modern disconnection, providing a roadmap for balancing internal peace with external harmony. This project is a call to unity, offering an accessible entry point to a philosophy that encourages every participant to embrace their own power to create a better world through compassionate action.
