Long-Life and Wellbeing: 5 Tseringma Sisters Empowerment

Long-Life and Wellbeing: 5 Tseringma Sisters Empowerment

This is a paid event and available both Online and In-person.

Awaken Vitality and Longevity with Khentrul Rinpoche

Khentrul Rinpoche has generously offered a weekend of powerful empowerments and practices to strengthen our life force and wellbeing. The first one on Saturday is of the 5 Tseringma sisters who are connected with all lineages of Vajrayana. The second Namgyalma (Ushnisha Vijaya) is on Sunday at the same venue and online. See here for Sunday’s details.

We have this rare and precious human life—and we must use it wisely. The future is uncertain, but as Bodhisattvas and aspiring Bodhisattvas, we have a responsibility to create the best conditions for a long, meaningful life dedicated to Dharma practice.

Aging, sickness, and death are inevitable. But how we meet them—with strength, clarity, and resilience—is within our power. While we may not erase all karmic seeds of illness, we can weaken their grip and plant the causes for a healthier, more vibrant future.

The Power of the 5 Tseringma Sisters

The 5 Tseringma Sisters—powerful Dharma protectors—support sincere practitioners in countless ways. They grant not only long life but also the resources essential for practice: health, sustenance, stability, and abundance. Khentrul Rinpoche reminds us that the most direct way to receive their aid is to be an excellent practitioner—because they are bound by oath to support those walking the Dharma path. Still, through focused practice, we can strengthen our connection to these protectors and amplify their blessings in our lives.

Connecting with the Mountain Spirits

In Tibet and the Himalayas, people have long honored the unseen forces of the land—mountain spirits and protectors who shape the energy of our world. Through their stories, we open ourselves to the unseen, cultivating a deep sense of wonder and gratitude for the vast reality beyond what we perceive. After receiving the empowerment to connect with these protectors, we will recite prayers together, anchoring their blessings in our lives.

Come deepen your connection to the Dharma protectors, extend your life force, and strengthen your Dharma path.

WHO CAN ATTEND
There are no formal prerequisites. Previous Buddhist study and practice are helpful but not required. Like all vajrayana practices you are taking refuge, bodhisattva vows and forming Samaya with the master.

Long and Healthy Life: Namgyalma Empowerment and Practices

Long and Healthy Life: Namgyalma Empowerment and Practices

This is a paid event and available both Online and In-person.

Khentrul Rinpoche has kindly agreed to bestow the Namgyalma Empowerment to support all practitioners wishing to make the most of their precious human birth. In order to do that, we need to live a long and healthy life to practice Dharma as much as we can.

Uṣṇīṣavijayā (Victorious Crown Goddess) is a powerful Buddha of longevity, also known as Tsugtor Namgyelma in Tibetan. She is one of the Three Long-Life Deities, alongside Amitayus and White Tara, revered across all major Tibetan Buddhist lineages. Wearing an image of Vairocana in her crown, Uṣṇīṣavijayā embodies the essence of Buddha Amitayus and is a vital source of longevity and healing.

BENEFITS OF THE PRACTICE

The practice of Namgyalma, the mantra of Uṣṇīṣavijayā, offers profound benefits: it clears life obstacles, purifies negative karma, and protects against rebirth in lower realms. Particularly beneficial for those suffering from illness or cancer, this practice can also help extend life by purifying obscurations, especially in times of crisis.

As Guru Shakyamuni Buddha taught, reciting the Namgyalma mantra—along with clean conduct and the eight precepts—can dramatically extend life, heal, and purify negative karma.

The efficacy of this practice depends on how deeply one engages with the deity. The more you practice, the greater the blessings and benefits. The Uṣṇīṣavijayā dharani is highly valued in all of the major Tibetan Buddhist schools for its ability to remove life obstacles and purify negative karma.

WHO CAN ATTEND

There are no formal prerequisites. Previous Buddhist study and practice are very helpful but not required. Like all vajrayana practices you are taking refuge, bodhisattva vows and forming samaya with the master.

Dolpopa’s Monlam Commentary

Dolpopa’s Monlam Commentary

This event is available Online only.

Dolpopa’s Monlam Commentary — Online Teaching with Shar Khentrul Rinpoché

In English with live translations TBA. There are no prerequisites for attending!

It is with great joy we announce that Rinpoché has accepted our teaching request for a commentary on Dolpopa’s “Aspiration Prayer for the Two Stages of the Vajra Path”. This profound, inspiring, energetic prayer, was spontaneously conceived by Dolpopa as he conversed with his students. Encompassing Dolpopa’s compassionate energy, this prayer is an object of inspiration and devotion for those aspiring to enter and progress on the profound path of the Six Vajra Yogas of Kālachakra. It encapsulates all main aspects of the path, focusing on Bodhicitta and devotion to the Lama and the Yidam, while also referencing various aspects of Dharma teachings particularly relevant for practitioners to remember.

Rinpoché’s root Lama, the precious Lama Lobsang Trinley also wrote a commentary on this aspiration prayer, and we are delighted that Rinpoché will share his insights regarding his writings as well. The translation of Dolpopa’s prayer is available online at our Learning Center in the “Unrestricted Prayers and Texts” section and as a hard copy in our printed practice book “The Profound Path of Vajra Yoga.”

The commentary will be divided into three sessions. You can do later registration and join even if you were not able to attend the first session or the first two sessions.

Rinpoché will bestow it directly from his vajra throne at Dzokden Kalapa in Austria (where he will then guide his students in person in the retreats of the Completion Stage of the Six Vajra Yogas of Kālachakra).
