About this Program

Dzokden is committed to promoting the Rimé (non-sectarian) philosophy. Rimé does not seek to blend all traditions into one, but rather to recognize the unique value of each path while finding the common ground that unites us all.   We intend to help people develop the positive qualities that promote an attitude of mutual respect, an openness to new ideas, and an inquisitive desire to overcome our ignorance.  By cultivating tolerance and appreciation of the world’s diverse wisdom traditions, we can bridge the gaps that often lead to division.

Khentrul Rinpoche has dedicated his life to educating the world on the importance of Rimé through his books, videos, and global teachings.  This program includes several ongoing initiatives to support Rinpoche’s tireless efforts:

  • The 108 Teachings of Kunga Drolchök: In 2026, Rinpoche will transmit the monumental 108 Teachings of Kunga Drolchök, a profound corpus of Buddhist Rimé literature Compiled in the 16th century by the Jonang master Kunga Drolchök.  This collection was a revolutionary effort to preserve the essential “instruction manuals” of various Tibetan Buddhist lineages that were in danger of being lost. This initiative serves as a cornerstone for understanding how diverse lineages can coexist and enrich one another.
  • The Dzokden Rimé Institute: Our dedicated retreat center serves as a physical sanctuary for this philosophy, providing a space where practitioners from all backgrounds can gather to study, meditate, and engage in spiritual exchange.
  • Global Interfaith Dialogues: We are launching a series of dialogues specifically designed to find parallels between the world’s wisdom traditions. These sessions foster an environment of “wisdom-sharing” where the deep insights of the Kalachakra are placed in conversation with other global faiths.
  • Rimé Publications and Liturgy: A growing library of books and prayers focused on the Rimé philosophy, curated to help modern seekers appreciate the vast breadth of the spiritual landscape.

Our Aspiration and Why This is Important

By bringing the philosophy of Rimé into modern social discourse, we aim to cultivate a global culture of peace and empower the individual to transform how they view other faith traditions.  We extend an open invitation to everyone to step into a mindset of radical appreciation, utilizing the collective wisdom of humanity to accelerate our journey toward global harmony and the manifestation of a Golden Age.

Our Aspiration and Why This is Important

At Dzokden, our aspiration is rooted in the Rimé (non-sectarian) vision—a commitment not to blend all traditions into one, but to honor the unique value of each path while recognizing the deeper truth that unites them. Khentrul Rinpoche teaches that the wisdom of Kalachakra is inherently Rimé. Its view transcends religious boundaries, pointing to a universal reality that belongs to all beings, not any single tradition. In this way, Kalachakra offers not only a path to individual enlightenment, but also a framework for collective harmony. Within the Kalachakra teachings, it is said that the world will face increasing religious extremism and division. This is not merely a social concern—it is a spiritual obstacle that directly impacts humanity’s ability to enter a new Golden Age. Without cultivating tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding across traditions, the conditions for global harmony cannot arise. For this reason, fostering interfaith respect and genuine appreciation of diverse wisdom traditions is not optional—it is essential. It is directly connected to our aspiration for peace in the world. By encouraging openness, curiosity, and the sincere wish to overcome ignorance, we help individuals develop the qualities needed to bridge division. Through this, we contribute to a more harmonious world—one aligned with the vision of the Shambhala warriors, who arise to protect wisdom and guide humanity toward a more enlightened future.
