Skills & Qualifications

• Must be a current and active user of the TikTok platform, with a strong understanding of its culture, algorithm, features, and current trends.
• Demonstrated experience using mobile or desktop video editing software (e.g., CapCut, in-app editor, Adobe Rush, etc.) to produce short-form, fast-paced video content.
• Able to create engaging visuals and a knack for spotting and adapting relevant viral trends quickly.
• Previous experience managing a successful social media account (personal or professional) is preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; diligence; able to work through obstacles and challenges.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the review team, staff members and/or volunteers to fully support the project.
• Flexibility and patience to adapt to changing requirements.
• Openness to learn new technical skills and procedures; willingness to follow given standards, guidelines.
• Technical: Ability to use Google Workspace, Drive, Docs (text editing/formatting functions) and Slack.
• Able to transfer knowledge to future volunteers.
