We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer for the Social Media Team Lead.  This role ensures the consistent and effective social media presence of Dzokden across our diverse language teams.  The Social Media Team Lead will be responsible for guiding and supporting the volunteer social media teams working in different languages to deliver engaging, accurate, and timely content that aligns with our overall communication strategy and goals.  The focus will be on fostering collaboration, maintaining brand consistency, ensuring adherence to guidelines, and driving follower growth across all language platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and mentor for volunteer social media team leads for each language.
• Facilitate regular communication and information sharing between language teams.
• Provide guidance and support to language team coordinators on content creation, scheduling, and best practices.
• Ensure that content shared across all language teams is consistent with Dzokden’s messaging and brand identity, while allowing for culturally relevant adaptations.
• Facilitate the sharing of core content and campaign information across language teams for translation and localization.
• Ensure all language teams understand and adhere to Dzokden’s social media guidelines, policies, and legal requirements.
• Work proactively with relevant teams to gather accurate and up-to-date information about upcoming events and initiatives; verify the accuracy of event details, dates, times, and locations in all language posts.
• Collaborate with team leads to develop and maintain consistent content schedules for each language platform; ensure that content is published in a timely manner to maximize reach and engagement.
• Help teams adapt the overall content calendar to suit the specific needs and audiences of their language communities.
• Work with language team coordinators to identify and implement strategies to increase followers and engagement on each language platform; encourage teams to utilize relevant hashtags, engage with their audience, and explore opportunities for cross-promotion.
• Collaborate with language team coordinators to track key social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth) for each language platform; assist in the preparation of regular reports on the performance of each language team’s social media efforts.
• Identify trends and insights to inform future content strategies.
