Description
We are seeking a highly computer-literate volunteer to join our Golden Age Development Team as a Website Content Editor. The volunteer will have access to a few areas and help entering podcast transcripts working with WordPress CMS, utilizing the Divi Builder. While this role does not require coding skills, a strong understanding of how web systems function is essential.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and publish podcast transcripts and content on our websites using the WordPress CMS and Divi Builder.
- Design and structure new web pages to present information in a clear, engaging, and user-friendly manner.
- Utilize website controls to manage and generate content in different languages, ensuring accurate translation and presentation.
- Input and update information, including text, images, and other media, into the CMS.
- Work closely with the team to understand content requirements, project timelines, and project priorities.
- Ensure content across the websites is current, accurate, and consistent with Dzokden’s branding and style guidelines.

Why This Role Is Important
- Proven experience working with web systems, content management systems (CMS), or similar online platforms; familiarity with WordPress and the Divi Builder is highly desirable.
- Experience or understanding of how controls work to generate different languages on a website.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; diligence; able to work through obstacles and challenges.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the review team, staff members and/or volunteers to fully support the project.
- Flexibility and patience to adapt to changing requirements.
- Openness to learn new technical skills and procedures; willingness to follow given standards, guidelines.
- Able to transfer knowledge to future volunteers.
