Join Us in Creating Dzokden Tashi Gadu – An Auspicious Gathering Place!
With great joy, we announce the opening of Dzokden Tashi Gadu, in Sacramento, California, a sacred space dedicated to the flourishing of the Golden Age increasing our wisdom, compassion, and prosperity. Thanks to the generosity of a devoted student, our rent is fully covered at the moment, and many of you have already contributed to the creation of our Golden Age Prosperity Shrine—a beacon of auspicious energy for all who enter. We will start to install the statues for that shortly.
Now, we need your support to complete this vision!
We are raising funds to furnish key spaces, making Dzokden Tashi Gadu a truly welcoming and functional co-working / co-living space. In addition to Yeshe Wangmo and Ryan Cortez from our board, we expect at least 1-3 more enlightened activities program participants staying at Tashi Gadu at all times dedicated to the Dharma to work on projects. One of our first confirmed guests is Gawa Dorje who will be working with Khentrul Rinpoche and Yeshe Wangmo on the development of our Kalachakra Yoga Asana and pranayama program (not the completion stage vajra yogas.)This space has very little storage so monetary offerings are preferred to physical objects except if it is crystals and gems for the Golden Age Prosperity Shrine.
What we need to co-create:
Kalachakra Meditation and Yoga Room
The large space at the entry will be used to host meditation, yoga, and Dharma rituals. A shrine table, shrine space, yoga mats and meditation cushions will allow the space to become functional. Tara’s Fortune Palace will be painted in this space and prepared for this year’s Drolmi Kazug puja.
Rangjung Lounge
Our library and lounge room contains the Golden Age Shrine along with precious books for the Dharma.
Guest Room – The Realm of Shambhala Pure Land
We hope many Dharma practitioners will come and stay in this room covered with a 13 foot mural of the realm of Shambhala. To begin, we will furnish it with two single beds and accompanying furniture—help us make this a cozy, transformative and unforgettable room to stay in!
Office & Co-Working Space
Thanks to a generous donation of four sit-stand desks, we’re off to a great start! Now, we need additional furnishings such as the office printer, glass whiteboard amongst other things to make this a fully equipped workspace for the flourishing of our Global Dharma activities.
Dining & Outdoor Areas
A communal dining space fosters connection, and an inviting outdoor area brings harmony with nature. We seek support to furnish the dining area, bring in plants for the outdoor space, and acquire a smoke offering pot for fire pujas.

We need at least $15,000.
If you want to come stay, work, and visit, please reach out in our slack channel #DzokdenTashiGadu if you are already a volunteer or join the enlightened activities program if you are not already one. We will need people this year to paint Dharma objects and pictures, make holy pills, roll mantras, tsa tsa, paintings, and many other activities.
