Distinguishing the Purelands of Shambhala and Amitabha

Khentrul Rinpoche’s root Guru, Lama Lobsang Trinlé an incredible Kalachakra master who taught the teachings of Shambhala, also did an Amitabha practice daily for his entire life. He said whoever had devotion to him and Amitabha would surely reach the Pureland. These two Purelands are both incredibly powerful spaces with different approaches to reach them. Khentrul Rinpoche will help us distinguish what they are, what are the benefits of reaching them, and what are the similarities and differences. This is a clarifying public talk to give a foundation for the 1 day teaching retreat on November 14th. During the retreat, Rinpoche will give commentary on 5 prayers to Amitabha and 3 prayers for Shambhala.
