Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shopify Store Manager to oversee the daily operations, performance, and growth of our online store. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and customer experience — ensuring the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and with brand consistency.

Responsibilities

Store Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage the end-to-end operations of the Shopify store.
  • Regularly update and optimise product listings, collections, and imagery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and pricing information.
  • Ensure the website is visually appealing, functional, and mobile-friendly.
  • Oversee integrations, apps, and troubleshooting of any technical issues.

Order Management & Customer Experience

  • Monitor and process online orders, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, inquiries, or issues in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Secretary DRI on physical stock levels, shipping and posting requirements/enquiries
  • Ensure timely shipping and accurate tracking information in conjunction with Secretary DRI.

Sales Growth & Marketing Support

  • Coordinate product launches, promotions, and discount campaigns.
  • Update banners, homepage content, and marketing assets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase average order value and customer retention.
  • Identify and create social posts to increase store traffic

Content & SEO Management

  • Write and optimise product descriptions and meta data for SEO.
  • Maintain consistent branding and tone across all site content.
  • Manage blog or news updates to support engagement and search visibility.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Generate regular sales and analytics reports.
  • Review store performance and recommend improvements.
  • Keep updated with Shopify features, tools, and e-commerce trends.

Communication & Relationship Building:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with DRI Sangha team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • skillAdministrative Support
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Meta Commerce, or Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or Shopify Liquid (advantageous).
  • Background in retail, marketing, or design is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing a Shopify or e-commerce store. Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin, apps, and integrations or similar.
  • Experience with product management, SEO, and digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and presentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
  • Organised and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Creative eye for branding and online presentation.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
