Description

We are currently looking for a reliable person to enter Kalapa events into the event database of the Austrian Buddhist Religious Society (ÖBR) as part of the Enlightened Activities Program. This ensures that our events are visible both in the ÖBR’s online event calendar and in its quarterly magazine.

Kalapa is a practice center of the Dzokden community for retreats and Buddhist studies located in Styria, Austria.

The ÖBR is the legally recognized umbrella organization for Buddhist communities in Austria.

Responsibilities

Transferring event data from the Kalapa website to the ÖBR database
Verifying the correct and complete entry of all event information in the ÖBR online calendar
Communicating with Kalapa coordinators in case of questions or for additional details
Coordinating with the ÖBR team for data approval and publication
Maintaining and updating existing event data

Skills & Qualifications

Administrative Support

The most important requirement is a genuine willingness to support Kalapa’s public relations.
Experience with databases is an advantage but not required.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with others; teamwork is essential.
Good communication and organizational skills, along with a careful and flexible work style.
