Description

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to fill the crucial role of Product Manager for our web development projects. The Product Manager bridges the gap between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. They define the “what” and “why” behind Dzokden’s web development efforts to make sure impactful and user-centric products are built. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze data from various sources (e.g., user feedback, analytics, market research) to identify needs, trends and inform product decisions.
Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the Dzokden’s goals including product roadmaps and prioritized features based on impact and feasibility.
Gather and document detailed product requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Design and prioritize features that address both technical and end-user needs.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including developers, designers, marketing, and end-users.
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to validate product assumptions and identify areas for improvement.
Work with marketing to ensure that the product and design supports both the marketing and business goals.

Skills & Qualifications

Website Development

Proven experience in product management, preferably in web development; strong understanding of web technologies and user experience principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise requirements.
Experience with user testing and gathering user feedback; experience with website analytics.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; diligence; able to work through obstacles and challenges.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the review team, staff members and/or volunteers to fully support the project.
Flexibility and patience to adapt to changing requirements
Ability to use Google Workspace, Drive, Docs (text editing/formatting functions) and Slack.
