All practices on the path to Buddhahood are methods for gathering the accumulations of merit and wisdom and for purifying our obscurations. The Highest Yoga Tantra Kalachakra Tsok offering is an incredibly swift and direct method. The Tsok offering is a practice of limitless Generosity in which we make offerings to all the Buddhas, Deities and Beings while holding the profound view and generation. It is typically done only by students who have taken the Kalachakra Initiation, but Khentrul Rinpoche encourages everyone studying the Kalachakra Ngondro to participate as well. It is not just a practice of offering however; it is a powerful method for purifying our Samaya.
Included in the Course
In this course, Khentrul Rinpoche Jamphel Lodrö will give a commentary on the Jonang Kalachakra Tsok text that we use for this practice. This is an excellent chance to deepen your understanding of the meaning of the practice. We will go over how to set this up in your community or at home as well as perform one together. This course includes instructions on setting up the Tsok offering, oral transmission, the text, the commentary, the video guide for the practice and music so you can do this practice in your community. You will have the information you need to chant it in your own langauge or in Tibetan.

This course is for anyone who is studying and practicing the Kalachakra Ngondro. This is especially important for anyone who has taken the Kalachakra Initiation to be able to purify Samaya and maintain their vows.

ABOUT KALACHAKRA Kalachakra brings peace to oneself and the world as we learn to harmonize our environment with our body & mind. Kalachakra, which means wheel of time, transcends religions time, space, and perceived reality. It is the essence that makes up our very nature. COMPLETE SYSTEM TO ENLIGHTENMENT The Tibetan Buddhist Jonang Lineage specializes in the complete path that guides students in a clear step-by-step system to enlightenment. It is known specifically for upholding the 6 vajra yogas through which many enlightened masters have transitioned. It has rarely been taught in its entirety to lay (non-monastic) practitioners in the West. Most of the Jonang Yogi’s have decided to remain practicing in their caves and monasteries in the Himalayas. In the past, people would walk across India and offer all their gold, home, and family just to receive a bit of dharma. The dharma is priceless and no amount of offerings can ever equal the value of the path to liberation. That said, there are huge costs involved in putting on a Kalachakra Empowerment both in-person and online as well as for us to help us make Rinpoche’s teachings available to people. We have to transport all of Rinpoche’s Holy Objects from Hong Kong to Australia as well as procure things for this years location. We have created 3 offering levels to help make this affordable to a range of attendees as we must raise funds to cover the cost. About the Practice of Chöd Chöd is a powerful practice of accepting willingly what is undesirable, cutting through our concepts, reducing our self-cherishing nature, leading us closer to our own true nature. The main obstacle to our own enlightenment is our clinging to our own ego, our own existence. When fear, fixation, and self-clinging are cut through, giving rise to the awareness of the pure nature of emotions and the emptiness of mental obscurations.Machig Labdron is the creator of a unique form of Mahamudra Chöd practice. She is the manifestation of Prajnaparamita, the Great Mother who gives birth to realisation of emptiness. Furthermore, Machig Labdrön is also the manifestation of Arya Tara, who gives birth to compassion. A chod practitioner can cut through anything and therefore his or her main intention should be to unify understanding of emptiness and loving kindness and compassion, just as Machig Labdrön did.Khentrul Rinpoche has received the Chod transmission in multiple traditions such as the Nyingma Kagyu, Jonang and the Gelug traditions. He had the pleasure of practicing Chod Retreat and receiving transmission from Kalka Jetsun Dhampa considered to be a reincarnation of Taranatha and the spiritual head of Mongolia.Throughout Buddhist history, female practitioners have been models of leadership in virtuous conduct, meditation, discipline and practice. Machig Labdron is an extraordinary example of a highly realised female practitioner. One of Rinpoche’s aspirations is to cultivate more realised female practitioners around the world and we hope this practice inspires the prominence and proliferation of more female Buddhist masters.
About the Empowerment This is an incredibly rare and precious empowerment of Chöd from master Jetsun Taranatha. We will include a booklet to follow along through the empowerment. Part of the transmission includes stories of Machig Labdron life in which we can all be inspired by this precious Dakini’s presence.

Letting go 2021 and establishing 2022 fresh with the blessings of the Buddha Vajrasattva The retreat is optimized for European and USA timezones. The Empowerment is at good time globally. Khentrul Rinpoche has kindly agreed to bestow the Heruka Vajrasattva Empowerment (Jenang / Permission Blessing) to support all practitioners wishing to do purification practice, and in particular those working with the Ngondro. Rafa Lobsang Dorje from Suchandra Institute will guide the participants through the Kalachakra Preliminaries with focus on the Vajrasattva Practice. This event was requested by practitioners of the Americas and the schedule is friendly for the Americas and for Europe as well.
In the practice sessions we will use the powerful visualization of Vajrasattva in union with his consort Vajratopa, as well as the Vajrasattva Heruka Mantra. The participants will be exposed to various traditional ways of practising and to deepen their understanding about the different meanings involved. We will be practicing with the main sadhana of the Kalachakra Path, “The Divine Ladder” by Jestun Taranatha, as well as with Khentrul Rinpoche’s own sadhana “Enlightening the Heart”.

This practice is done in the Jonang Kalachakra Ngondro for purification. If you are study and practicing this Ngondro, this retreat is highly recommended.
Who can Attend
There are no formal prerequisites. Previous Buddhist study and practice are very helpful but not required. If you can attend the Heruka Vajrasattva Empowerment with Khentrul Rinpoche, you create more chances for success in the practice as this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the teacher.

How does the Online Empowerments and Retreats Work
1) Register for each attendee that will be receiving the empowerment. You will receive a confirmation email. All of our online events use the Dzokden learning center. If you are not already enrolled in it, you will be invited to learn.dzokden.org
2) You will receive access to the zoom for each of the sessions. You will be able to watch any of the course in learn.dzokden.org The empowerment must be received in real time. There are no recordings available of the empowerment.
If you have a mala you can use it for counting your accumulations.
Offering of Dana and Sponsorship
It’s customary at the end of empowerment for students to make an offering of Dana to the guru. As this is an online event, you can make the offering of Dana to Rinpoche here

About this Talk
This year we have completed the Stupa of Unity to help create the conditions for the global universal Sangha and all Dharma communities to have peace and harmony. While this stupa is a good step this is not enough.
We must take action ourselves to achieve the unity.
All communities around the world face challenges finding appreciation, respect, love and harmony in between the people within them. Everywhere in the world people become annoyed with each other and find faults and limtiations. Dharma communities are no different but the effect of having these challenges is not the same. Rinpoche will help guide us to find ways to work through our obstacles with each other.
There is power in unity. This empowers us to work swiftly and harmoniously together all over the world to bring about the Golden Age of Peace and Harmony.
