In order to unveil your sacred truth through the profound practices of tibetan vajrayana Buddhism, you need a map to show you where you are going and how to get there.Representations of the path to freedom and our enlightened nature have been painted and encoded in the form of sacred mandalas such as the Kalachakra Mandala. Khentrul Rinpoche will explain some universal aspects represented in Sacred art as well as the specific hidden meaning in the Kalachakra Mandala’s representation.

Tantra is a rich practice that is particularly suited to our modern time where people are heavily engaged in desires and distraction. The traditional texts were written in ancient times — modern practitioners attempting to follow them often get stuck in a contradictory application of renunciation that only becomes another form of attachment. It is important to have renunciation, but not one that is rooted in fear, because fear is inseparable from suffering. But fear and renunciation are of the same nature; so how can you have one while abandoning the other?
In the Highest Yoga Tantric path of Vajrayana, the “diamond vehicle,” practitioners engage directly with desires, emotions and all aspects of waking and sleeping as a potent force and technology for personal transformation and rapid awakening. In this 1.5 hour discussion, Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche will explore the essence of using the desire path as a practical and natural way of liberation.
Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche is a Rimé and Jonang Kalachakra Master of Tibetan Buddhism. Inspired by the Kalki Kings of Shambhala, through his organization, Dzokden, Khentrul Rinpoche works towards the second Golden Age of peace on our earth by transmitting the Kalachakra teachings in every area of the globe, translated in over 13 languages. He has authored over 20 books related to Shambhala, Kalachakra and Vajrayana Buddhism. His most recent book, published by Shambhala Publications, is titled The Realm of Shambhala. His forthcoming book, The Path of Desire, is currently available in Tibetan and will be published in more languages next year.
Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoché spent the first 20 years of his life herding yak and chanting mantras on the plateaus of Tibet. Inspired by the bodhisattvas, he left his family to receive an extensive education in a variety of monasteries under the guidance of over twenty-five masters in all the Tibetan buddhist traditions. Due to his non-sectarian approach, he earned himself the title of Rimé (unbiased) Master and was identified as the reincarnation of the famous Kalachakra Master Ngawang Chözin Gyatso. While at the core of his teachings is the recognition that there is great value in the diversity of all spiritual traditions found in this world; he focuses on the Jonang-Shambhala tradition. Thought to be extinct by many Western scholars, he found it held the most advanced teachings of Kalachakra containing profound methods to harmonize our external environment with the inner world of body and mind.

“Our most essential need is ultimate peace and harmony. The source of this perfection is the Sublime Realm of Shambhala.”
~Shar Khentrul Rinpoche
Each of us is an extraordinary potential for love and compassion, capable of completely transforming the way we experience our world. Through the ancient wisdom of the Kalachakra teachings, this potential can be unlocked to manifest a sublime realm of experience, free from all forms of suffering and conflict. This state of eternal bliss is known by some as Shambhala.
Khentrul Rinpoché will help us unveil the hidden meaning of Shambhala and why it is so important for overcoming the problems of this world, especially in turbulent times of disagreement. The Kalachakra Tantra prophesizes a coming Golden age on earth.
From Genghis Khan to the hippie movement, the realm of Shambhala has captured the hearts and imagination of spiritual seekers and warriors throughout time. With great precision and clarity, Rinpoche will dispel the many layers of confusion that have surrounded this often-misunderstood subject and introduce a profound method for spiritual development, grounded in an unbiased and expansive approach transcending any one tradition. During this evening, he will also give the transmission for his new prayer for Shambhala to help us usher in an age of global peace and harmony.

Dzokden Brazil’s Invitation to Rinpoche
Khentrul Rinpoche will visit Brazil for the first time to bestow the Innate Kalachakra Jenang Empowerment and give its precious teachings. This is the realization of an invitation made by Brazilian practitioners before the start of the pandemic. This also celebrates the release of 2 of Rinpoche’s books in the Portuguese language.
This event is available in-person in Sao Paulo Brazil. Local registration is available on the Portuguese Page.
This page is for registration in Australia, Western Europe, New Zealand, UK, Asia, America, and Canada.
By receiving the Innate Kalachakra Jenang Empowerment, you will have Khentrul Rinpoche’s blessing and permission to engage in the preliminary practices of the Highest Yoga Tantra, Kalachakra, including self-visualization as the Deity. This concise Empowerment helps us to connect with the essence of the Kalachakra deity.
Innate Kalachakra (Sahaja Kalachakra) is the main deity practice emphasized by the Jonang Lineage and the gateway to the completion stage. This lineage emphasizes the completion stage practice of the profound 6 Vajra yogas. As such, they choose to keep this deity practice simple and accessible in order to guide people towards their non-conceptual state as swiftly as possible.
This indestructible Vajra yoga Path can lead practitioners to achieve enlightenment in a single lifetime or to attain a rebirth in the Bodhisattva pure realm of Shambhala. Just connecting with this empowerment plants the seed for your future enlightenment whether you choose to activate them in this life or the next.
Roadmap to Enlightenment
Rinpoche will give teachings to clarify the vajra yoga path from the Jonang lineage which has rarely been taught in this world outside of Tibet. We can not reach enlightenment if we do not know where we are going and how we can get there. He will illuminate the special karmic connection our earth has with Shambhala and Kalachakra which prophesize the coming of a 2nd Golden Age in our world.
