Description

We are seeking a dedicated French-speaking volunteer (male or female) to make recordings of voice-overs for Rinpoché’s videos. This role does not require text editing or translation work.

Responsibilities

Access the Subtitle-docs in the Dzokden Google drive and create a clear, articulate audio mp3 voice recording in a French-speaking voice (male or female).
Collaborate with other volunteers of the Youtube Project Team.
Volunteer will need equipment for voice recording (e.g., microphone, fast internet, sufficient space on personal device to store audio files).

Skills & Qualifications

Language
Translation

A clear, pleasant, expressive voice with the ability to modulate tone and pace.
Able to work independently with good organizational and time management skills, diligence, attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Cooperative, reliable and ability to persevere when faced with obstacles.
Ability to collaborate with other volunteers and team members to fully support the project; ability to work in a team is essential.
Openness to learn new technical skills and procedures; willingness to follow given standards, guidelines.
Technical: Ability to use Google Workspace, Drive (transfer/upload large files) and Slack.
Video editing skills and software, a plus but not required.
Able to transfer knowledge to future volunteers.
