Description

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist the YouTube Video Production Team with proofreading video subtitles, creating video descriptions and administration.

Responsibilities

Proofread and correct translated/revised German video subtitles (e.g., spelling, punctuation, special formatting)
Create descriptions for the German videos that accurately and concisely describe the video content.
Upload corrected/prepared German videos and subtitles to YouTube.
Assist with scheduling of published German videos.
Monitor and moderate comments made to the German videos.

Able to work independently with good organizational and time management skills, diligence, attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Cooperative, reliable and ability to persevere when faced with obstacles.
Ability to collaborate with other volunteers and team members to fully support the project; ability to work in a team is essential.
Openness to learn new technical skills and procedures; willingness to follow given standards, guidelines.
Technical: Ability to use Google Workspace, Drive (transfer/upload large files), Slack and YouTube Studio.
Able to transfer knowledge to future volunteers.
